The Change

Written by Ruqaiya Baloch

When we talk about change, we get many inspiring ideas, but afraid to share. When we see something wrong we start a debates to make it right, but when we talk about the change we will get no response, on the other hand people used to call us over emotional.  Sometimes I feel sorry for being a part of this culture. Where crimes get high lights every single minute but the good deed never get noticed.  As Michelle Obama Said “You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world's problems at once but don't ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own.”
Going back to 2005, I Was in School in my senior year, I promised to do something good for my country, something that can change the negative and conservative thoughts, which my beloved country is suffering from for many years. As time passes, I grow up, the ambition got stronger I saw few people who try to take the right steps.
We belong to Pakistan an Islamic country full of hope. It is an independent country but still we are following that Society of sacrifices, where we are the victims of crimes where we are sacrificing our education our ambitions and goals for nothing.

I don’t want to be the part of it I want to follow my dreams of change. But the question is what to do? Where to start?  Going back to last year, December 2014, I got the chance to be a part of the Scouts Youth Council. In this council I’m surrounded by my friends, where we all hide the cruel truth of our society, because we know we are the part of the change we are the hope. Here one of our goals is to show the positive image of our country to the world and as far as I know my journey has just begun.

Leadership in Youth

By Rabiya Saeed

“The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things” Ronald Reagan. With the word leadership when a variety of images comes to the mind which are mostly affiliated to the person who has the determination to defy the mainstreams and rise against the repeated misfortunes. The one who develops a strategy to show the different perspectives of things and visualize the difference between the every given scenario and will happen after the implementation of his vision.Leader is the person who leads the cluster of the people in a arranged clump, whether it’s a political or religious; he brings amendments in such an inspirational and afflatus way, that the followers are motivated by the vision and thus obey the instruction given by their leader.Youth is a backbone of every nation. They are enriched with enthusiasm, ardour, zeal and warmth. They have huge devotions for their country, religion and every idea in general. It is essential to muster and accumulate their scattered fanaticism and patriotism, for this purpose a leader is created, the one who can utilize the abilities of the youth in an optimistic way, because at this stage their mind can be moulded into any shape whether to narrow or broad and they can understand and handle the problems with skills, so leader is s person who can play a vital role for the youth in this regard. They can articulate the vision or the perspective to view the things differently. Therefore, leadership in youth is quite necessary and influential to flourish the country and to develop the society.
